Yes, you could order online from ScoutStuff.org or go to one of the
distributors who sell Scout supplies along with their regular
merchandise. But when you do this, your Council loses some of the
financial support needed to supply a quality program for your youth.
You also do not get the
personal help and experience
that is available at our Scout Shops.
Second, unlike items that you purchase from ScoutStuff.org and
others,
items purchased from the Three
Fires Council are exempt from sales tax.
A friendly suggestion: You could go online to scoutstuff.org and look
for the items you want. You can then print out your shopping cart list
and send it to us. We may have what you need in stock, if not; we can
order it for you. We can hold it for pick up or ship it to you. With the
current gas prices, shipping may turn out to be less expensive than
driving here and with no sales tax where could you find a better deal?
