What: You are invited to a night of fun and Fellowship. This is our "Court of Honor" for the adult volunteers in the Fox Valley District. We will be recapping some of the great events held in the past year. We will also be passing out some awards for some special volunteers that have helped out. Most important is that we will be having fun enjoying the company of our fellow volunteers. Casual Dress - No BSA Uniforms!
When: Sunday March 5, 2017 - Social Hour starts: 4:30 PM. Opening Ceremony and Dinner at 5:30 PM
Where: Riverview Banquets - 1117 N. Washington Ave. - Batavia (On Rte 25 South of Fabyan Pkwy)
Unit Leaders: Please nominate up to 3 persons from your unit for the Acorn Award using this Link: 2017 Acorn Award Review the guidelines at the link provided. At least one representative of your unit must attend the Fox Valley District Dinner in order for your unit to receive these awards.
Important: Please Consider nominating a special scouter for the District Award of Merit. This is an award given to registered Scout Leaders who have given outstanding service at the District level. The nominee must also have given exemplary service to youth within and / or outside of Scouting. Please download and fill out the District Award of Merit Nomination Form. Completed forms may be forwarded to Jeff Mengler - or Ray Hunt - . This is a confidential nomination, please don't notify the person being nominated. Deadline for this years nominations is February 22, 2017.
