Internet Rechartering
Renew the charter for packs, troops, teams, crews, and ships

A representative of each unit can now complete the paperwork for renewing a charter online. From Internet Rechartering, you can indicate returning members, add new members, and update information for an individual or the chartered organization.

How to use if you are using Windows 2000 or XP

ONLINE RECHARTERING UPDATE: The software update schedule for 2008 has changed. The software update scheduled for March 8 will now occur on March 15. Therefore, the ScoutNET system will be unavailable from 9 p.m. March 14 until 6 p.m. March 16 (CT). As a result, charter renewal processors using Internet Rechartering will not be able to load rosters from PAS during that time.

To renew a charter online:

  1. Sixty days before your unit's expiration date, select a renewal processor.
  2. The renewal processor attends the October roundtables to receive training and the unit access code.
  3. Sixty to 45 days before the unit's expiration date, the renewal processor clicks Recharter Now and begins the process.
  4. When the online process is completed, the renewal processor prints the completed charter renewal application.
  5. The unit leader and the chartered organization representative sign the charter renewal application. Bring the application along with the material you received in your recharter packet (such as the Quality Unit application), and all appropriate fees to your district's charter turn-in meeting.

Recharter Turn-in Parties will be held on different dates for each district.
