WILDERNESS FIRST AID TRAINING / Flier with Information
The Emergency Care & Safety Institute will conduct a Wilderness First Course that will challenge you like no other. This weekend class provides information on how to handle common injuries and illness when medical care is an hour or more away. Designed for Members of the Boy Scouts of America and for those who work or travel in remote locations. This comprehensive class will teach you what to look for and what to do in the event of an emergency, and direct you to the most appropriate type of care.
Completion of this class will satisfy the BSA requirement for High Adventure outings. Participants are required to have CPR Certification as a prerequisite to take this class.
When: Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Cost: $110.00 per person / This course is open to both scouts and adults (Scouts must be a minimum of 14 years old at time of class.)

Wilderness First Aid
Whether you’re in the wilderness or an urban disaster! Professional help can be delayed by hours or days.
This is a comprehensive two day course geared to teach the necessary skills of evaluating and treating serious injuries and illness. Needed to preserve life until professional help can be obtained. This is the course required by BSA for high adventure outings.
